Hey there! Thank you for visiting my web folio. My name is Felipe Bulka Veicer, a current Junior at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing and aim to work in the area. I am also an entrepreneur with the desire to build my own business.

I moved to Los Angeles, California from São Paulo, Brazil to attend college. I brought with me an aspiration to experience different environments, which would help to increase my ability on how to adapt to various new places and cultures. It also gives me the opportunity to network with people from unique parts of the world. I figured that with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, alongside my good communication skills, I would be able to enjoy this experience while becoming more mature outside of my culture and my comfort zone.

On my trip to America, I brought with me some work experience which made me decide to take the Marketing path. I started working in a production company called Hungry Man back in Brazil on a summer internship when I was 16. Although I wasn't getting paid I could get some experience in the business atmosphere. After that, I worked at multiple jobs. In a technology company in the customer service department. Brought me great experience in knowing how to effectively communicate with all types of people. In California, I worked for a Brazilian restaurant, Ubatuba Acai, where I could also expand on my communication skills and time management since it was a fast-paced environment. Lastly, today I have my own company, Freskoball, where we produce and sell rackets meant to play a game called Frescobol. This was my first experience as an entrepreneur, and  I am very happy with the results of that.

By having these work experiences and volunteer experiences, I realized that my future consists of wanting to work in something related to communications and marketing. Also, by having my own business I realized how important it is to have an effective marketing and management. This brought me to where I am today, majoring in Marketing. And I haven't looked back since.
